See it from the air. Plot it on the map.
When a pilot goes live, the aerial feed takes its reserved seat in the command meeting — and the drone appears on every TAK map with its camera bearing. Tap the marker, watch the video. No one in the operations room has to touch a thing.

Three ways to bring a drone into the meeting
All three work side by side. Pilots fly; commanders watch; nobody drags windows around.
Instant
The pilot starts streaming to a dedicated drone room. Tessavox attaches the feed and pins it to its seat. For pre-sales demos, sudden tasks and ad-hoc reconnaissance.
Scheduled, drag-and-pin
When booking a meeting, drag the drone account to a seat. At meeting time the feed joins automatically and lands exactly there. For planned drills and recurring briefings.
Fixed sector layouts
A preset layout per customer or sector applies the moment the meeting opens. For routine operations run by standard procedure.
A standard TAK account. No server changes. No plugins.
Many agencies already share positions, markers and messages on TAK. Tessavox joins as an ordinary TAK user and adds what TAK does not have: multi-party video, live drone video, radio voice and on-premises translation.
- Friendly drone symbol with a camera-bearing wedge, updated every 2 seconds
- Tap the drone marker on ATAK, WinTAK or iTAK to open the live video
- Share the WinTAK map into the meeting and pin it next to the drone feed
- ATAK chat in both directions, translated Chinese ↔ English
Resilient by default
Automatic recovery
Signal lost, battery swapped, app restarted: the room shows “No signal”, then the feed returns to the same seat on its own.
Flight data on the video
Callsign, time, coordinates, altitude, speed and heading are overlaid on the feed, so the room knows where the drone is without switching to the map.
Any network
4G, 5G, satellite, private networks or the internet. No fixed IP needed on the drone side; works behind carrier-grade NAT.
Encrypted at every hop
SRT with AES encryption from the field, an encrypted tunnel to the server, and encrypted WebRTC to every viewer.
Isolated module
The drone gateway runs as its own module. A problem on the drone side never takes the meeting down with it.
Our own field app
An Android app that streams video and GPS (or a simulated orbit for indoor demos), configured by scanning one QR code.
What connects
- Video in
- SRT (with encryption) and RTMP / RTMPS — from our field app, from drone remote controllers or ground stations that support live streaming, or any encoder
- TAK
- Works with an existing on-premises TAK server, or we deploy one with the system. Verified October 2026 with the official TAK Server 5.8, ATAK, WinTAK and iTAK
- Map data
- Position, heading, camera bearing and a video link sent as standard TAK messages
- Drones
- Any aircraft whose controller or ground station can output SRT or RTMP; for defense and government projects we recommend platforms from a trusted supply chain
- Networks
- From a mesh VPN for pilots and small sites to 5G private networks and tactical routers — the server side stays the same
TAK, ATAK, WinTAK and iTAK are names of their respective owners. Tessavox is not affiliated with or endorsed by the TAK Product Center; this page describes compatibility only.
See it live — on our hardware or yours
A 60–90 minute demo: command-center layout, a drone on the TAK map, radio translation and the phone system, shown end to end. Online, or at your site fully offline.
